Keepsake Blanket

Do you have precious clothing stored away?? Have you saved your children's baby clothes, or have lost loved ones clothing? It can be lovingly transformed into a Keepsake Blanket for you to treasure those memories forever.
 
I create 2 styles of Blanket, each in 3 sizes
Standard Blankets are backed with a co-ordinating super soft fleece. 
Luxury Keepsake blankets have a layer of wadding, which make the blankets a heavier weight with more of a duvet feel.
Both styles are fully quilted ad edged with bias binding.  
The full widthllength of the banket is made from your clothing - there are no fillers with fleece or cotton lining.
 
Standard size
approx 90cm x105cm. 
This size will require at least 15 items of children's clothing depending on clothing size. 
The blanket will be patchwork of 42 squares. 
 
Large size
approx 105cm x120cm. 
This size will require at least 25 items of children's clothing depending on clothing size, and will be a patchwork of 56 squares. 
 
Single Bed size 
approx 120cm x 165cm. 
This size will require 40 items of children's clothing, depending on clothing size, and will be a patchwork of 88 squares.
 
** The number of items required assumes it is possible to cut two/three 6.5 inch squares out of each item. If smaller baby clothes are provided then the blanket will need more items **
